Volunteer Information

“MARKED” Summer Arts Day Camp

Volunteer application materials will be available soon!

Thank you for your interest in being a volunteer for “MARKED!”

“MARKED” is a Youth Arts Camp for ages 10-20 (5th-12th grades through young adults), designed to help students grow in their Christian faith and their artistic areas. We can not exist without the help of so many wonderful volunteers! We thank you in advance for joining our volunteer team to show the love of Christ to these amazing campers.

During this camp we adults will have the opportunity to live out Matthew 20:28, ”Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve and to give His life as a ransom for many.”  Volunteers will work in a variety of capacities, but always with the goals of serving and helping these young persons grow in faith and artistry.

The campers may come from a variety of church backgrounds and be at different places on their spiritual journey, but the culture of the camp should be one in which they know the joy, love, and grace of Jesus Christ, especially as they participate in the activities and fun of camp.  Volunteers should be mature in their faith and their ability to work with others, be punctual, fulfill their commitments, and be willing to serve the kids and their families.

Volunteers should seek to glorify God, honor Jesus, and bring others closer to Him.  They should strive to follow Christ’s example (Philippians 2), be humble, seek to help others in a loving way, respond to problems with kindness and patience, contribute without complaining, cooperate while encouraging others to excellence, and look for ways to encourage both our campers and fellow adult volunteers. Volunteers should pray for the Holy Spirit to be the keeper of our spirits, words and actions throughout the camp so we can truly show the love of Christ to each person through our time, interactions, and efforts.

Volunteers will be needed in these areas.

  • Prayer team

  • Set up/clean up

  • Front desk/check-in/registration

  • Arts workshop assistant

  • Lunch time – food

  • Lunch time – outdoor games

  • Camp merchandise/store
